Fans watching the Super Bowl are stocking up on more than just pizza and beer.
A Nielsen Company survey took a look at the top foods served at parties on Super Bowl night for the past three years.
What they found may come as a surprise -- vegetables topped the list.
People said they served up more snacks, sandwiches and salads than pizza.
In fact, more people drank milk and soda the night of the big game than beer.
I hope having celery with the chicken wings counts as a veggie. We are also doing chili con queso with tortilla chips and milk (in the cheese dip). haha Toast!
6 hour simmered spaghetti sauce/noodles and eggplant Parmesan over here tomorrow.
Will have caramel dip with apples, green chili/guacamole dip, kettle corn, Italian sodas, and steaks.
Celery stuffed with blue cheese covers veggie and dairy.
:D
All kinds of good stuff! I typed up the recipes with photos...

The slider sandwiches are the BEST!
Oh I am not a very good cook at all..too clumsy in the kitchen...because I’m usually on the go and don’t take the time.
Let me put it this way...If the urge to cook takes hold I’ll just stand in the kitchen a couple minutes til it passes..and it does! Simple and fast is always best if I have to eat.
This article is nice and fluffy.

Woosification of America is upon us.
So, would more people getting drunk on Super Bowl Sunday make you happy? Most of my friends don't believe that you need to drink alcohol and act obnoxious in order to have fun watching the Super Bowl.
No thank you BigVeggie and BigMilk. But I'm not going to buy your conspiracy theory cr@p and stay with my allegiance to BigBeer and BigSnack and there is nothing that you can do about it. /r
MAN FOOD SALUTE!
So people like me who want to take care of their bods are wusses?
