I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)
Flowers of the Forest
Black Watch Piper
The Soldier
If I should die, think only this of me: That there's some corner of a foreign field That is forever England. There shall be In that rich earth a richer dust concealed; A dust whom England bore, shaped, made aware, Gave, once, her flowers to love, her ways to roam; A body of England's, breathing English air, Washed by the rivers, blest by suns of home. And think, this heart, all evil shed away, A pulse in the eternal mind, no less Gives somewhere back the thoughts by England given; Her sights and sounds; dreams happy as her day; And laughter, learnt of friends; and gentleness, In hearts at peace, under an English heaven.
Rupert Brooke

Manage a greenhouse at the local garden center. Right now we’ve got our hanging baskets started (@ 300+) as well as cole crops—cabbage, broccoli, lettuces, spinach, chard, pak choi, stuff. Getting ready to evict all them and start refilling the greenhouse with maters and peppers and flowers and herbs. We do all our own stuff, by hand. Labor intensive but we have the best plants in the county. :)
Got 250 bareroot roses coming in next week that have to be potted up.

Once I got grown, I never moved very far. Live in my inlaws backyard. Daughter lives with us, and youngest son. Oldest son lives on the other side of my inlaws. Mom and Dad live about 15 miles away.
Can’t imagine not having any family close.

You have a wonderful nap time Meg! You deserve it! Your flower garden “ walk” here today is gorgeous!!
May Jesus Christ be Praised this Day!

Good Sunday Afternoon
Thank you, polly..My "flower gardens" require no
maintenance and the seasons don't matter.

Don’t have a website, but Red_Devil 232 hosts a weekly gardening thread on Friday’s. We’d love to have you visit/contribute! Gardeners from all over, so we really get a lot of different input!
Boasting or bemoaning about our crops generally leads to recipes. We have a lot of fun and I learn a lot!

Beautiful hydrangea, Meg! I like the lacecaps, but I much prefer the snowballs!
To: gardengirl
Thank you. That is one that had me puzzled...It took awhile to figure out that it was a diffent kind of hydrangea.
I love the snowballs best, too.

The big so dark blue they’re almost purple ones! LOL ‘Course, I like the mixed ones too, where they’re part pink and part blue. :)
