A student found out somehow and brought cupcakes for everyone.

As usual, at some point I had to tear up about it! LOL.

I have lots of room on my PC. I thought that I was doing something right.

When my last computer died, there were several things lost. I did have a lot on CDs but there were files that I either had not copied or were corrupted.

Son is going to see if he can find a way to get to the info. He will probably talk to some of the computer geeks that he works with before he comes. Hopefully he will get enough help to do something.

I have unplugged the dead drive and am working off of the portable backup and a flash drive.

I hate computers!!! :)

Not really .... the internet has really opened lots of doors for all of us.

I’ve got some old hard drives stuck in a drawer. Don’t know if I’d be able to access the data since the Op Systems range from Win95, 98 and XP.

This ‘puter has XP - never did upgrade to Vista. That Vista disc sits in the same drawer as the HD’s.

Sunny skies up here today. Turned off the heat and opened the front door. I could get used to this. :)

I had a document saved on a diskette. Since computers no longer have a diskette reader, I asked my brother if he would open it and put it on a cd for me. He could not open it. My scanner has not worked since I installed Vista. I probably should take the document to Kinkos and have it rescanned.

We have overcast skies today. They are saying a big storm is headed this way tomorrow. I hope they are wrong. I could get used to your spring weather too. :)

How are you doing? Do you have a surgery date yet?
