The only reason I keyed in on that “Noun” was that I am grateful for the compassion given to me by my family and friends. It was a rough go some years back.

Pity on the other hand was never sensed.

Compassion doesn’t make one weak. It is a knowledge that the persecuted are understood by their suffering.

I am pondering this profound statement.

Obviously it is correct and monumentally so.

I think I am approaching the subject matter from the point of view of the sufferer and not those who understand him/her.

Thanks for expanding my view of this subject.

I went through a tough time too.

Had the compassion of family, but the fight was "out there"...

That said, there is nothing like the support of those who love you. It gives you strength when you fail yourself.

BTW, God bless...you have my compassion. Hope you win (with your generous attitude and courageous open-mindedness, you have already won).

I appreciate your input. I have compassion for all of God’s children as he is the one that makes it all happen. It shows itself in many ways.

My personal motto in life is, “Don’t quit your job until you find another one.”

In a different time and place, I used to say about my ex, "The only thing worse than looking for a job is finding one."

One of my uncles did some searching, and discovered that, according to the family lore contained in an obituary, one of our female ancestors had slapped Kaiser Wilhelm. He wasn’t Kaiser yet, they were school children, and he had dipped her braid into the inkwell. :-)

My wife is a recent BSN RN grad and has been looking for a entry level nursing job in San Diego. No luck.

Are you looking for a job?
I should be.

Not sure what to look for anymore though.

Thanks for your efforts.
