The three Republican candidates for governor clashed in a final televised debate Friday night, sharpening their differences as they jockeyed for advantage going into the March 2 primary campaign.
VOTE FOR MEDINA IN MARCH 2ND 2010 PRIMARY FOR TEXAS GOVERNOR SHE IS FOR ELIMIINATION OF PROPERTY TAX AND GUN REGISTRATION
Texas does not have a state income tax so property taxes is what is used for Schools, how would this lady pay for schools without a property tax?
ping
Exactly...that is why rentals cost a fortune in states with high property taxes; New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and so on...
Every time she put on that toothy smile, she was thinking, "#@$&*#$^#@" of the questioner. You could just see it. That would have made a great drinking game. Neither she nor Perry answered a single question without that slimy politician snake oil used car salesman bs. Perry was a huge disappointment.
OK, y'all have just about got me on board with Medina. She was great and here's hoping for an upset. KXAN asked viewers who won but only one said Medina and everyone else said Perry. I'd give her my vote in a minute if I were sure it wouldn't split the vote allowing KBH or White or some other bozo to get the prize.
I hear ya. I had a good time watching the body language.
Send the parents the bill. Personally; I don't care to pick up the tab for the sub-standard product produced by government schools.
[There is a gun reg in TX.]
huh?????........
No there isn’t.
If Medina is elected then not only will we have a President in DC with no experience, our state will have a Governor with no experience. She may have run a business but running the State of Texas requires more and there is no track record to show how she actually votes on anything. She talks a good game but needs to start on a local level - like a city councilman, then mayor - before she jumps to the big time. If she is elected White and the Dimwits will run Texas and then I’ll move out.
No there isn't.
Perhaps Medina should stick to bedpans and stay away from grown up stuff.
Lying on FR will get you two no where.
You hit it, this isn’t the first time she has said big dramatic things that have absolutely no meaning in Texas. We don’t have gun registration for one. The other week she promised something about Texas statewide ballot measures- which we don’t have.
If you look at her statements just a few months ago in things like the commentary “Latinos and the GOP” you’ll find someone who is very different than the image you see now.
Don’t trust her at all.
See post number 6 please.
The best one sentence summary I've seen.
My fault-mug instead of “mig”. LOL
Booked marked the whole debate and I need to watch it in it’s entirety.
Just don’t know if she can win the GOP primary against these two.
Wishful thinking on my part. Maybe in 4 years she can knock off whomever wins in the GE.
Unless Medina goes independent, it will be the GOP winner against White or the Muslim.
She didn't really say this did she? If she did she needs to get out of the race now.
[Everyone pays not just home owners.]
look....i hate taxes more than the next guy but.....everyone that pays to have a roof over their head or their business pays property taxes whether they rent or own......
does everyone think that landlords just throw the cost of property taxes in for free when renting property......noooo they figure it in just like any other expense otherwise they could not make a profit....thus the RENTERS PAY the PROPERTY TAX.....geezzzz.....
I’m surprised that people didn’t turn on her when she scolded KBH for not voting for Sotomayor because she was worried it would hurt the GOPs image with Latinos and was upset that our immigration policy hurts us with Latinos.

Political triangulation at its best. She will make a good politician (and I don’t say that as a compliment).
Except for all the subsidised rentals and many 20-30 YO still living at home. Hell here in Texas if they were to tax each can of beer 10 cents each it would be way enough to pay for the schools.
You two nailed it!
Maybe Medina is honest in her Spanish language only commercials.
