This could be a good one. In before the snarking.

Chrome likes Freerepublic just fine. Maybe you have some malware on your computer....

Is firefox sucking up memory like a fiend?

One of my computers running XP has gone bonkers this week. Very reluctant to swap screens while multi-tasking.

I have Firefox 3.5.7. I've never had any problems.

I switched to Chrome two weeks ago. I’m not impressed with it, but it’s a wash with Firefox. It doesn’t load FR 50 percent of the time, and it also doesn’t render a lot of pages correctly without hitting the refresh button.

The silliest thing is that youtube always loads with broken links, even though google owns youtube.

We switched to Chrome and have had absolutely no problems with it at all. Firefox became a memory hog in our case and froze our computers sometimes several times a day. I’m very glad we switched.

Using Chrome on a Mac.
Faster than every other browser, and no problems.

Using it (chrome) for FR this pm after downloading it a few minutes ago and operates very well....super fast. Almost sooooo fast I have to wonder if I need to get my tinfoil out !

I was getting same weird screen the other night on FR with FF3.6 and I think it may have been FR related vs your cpu.

get the latest ccleaner and scrub yer system if ya still have doubts !
