LOL!

Guy either died and failed to pass it on, or was mugged.

That’s what the local Poe historians were saying on local news this morning.

Teddy would never have left a bottle with a drop left in it much less not one half full.

One would have thought that if the prankster, or supposed recently deceased prankster, wanted the last laugh, he/she would have instructed another to carry on the tradition so one one would be the wiser.

"Edgar Allen Poe traditional birthday grave site visit ended last night."

Technically speaking, if last night was a no show, the "traditional birthday grave site visit" ended last January (2009).

LOL Yeah, slinking around downtown Baltimore at night dressed like a Victorian dandy is gonna catch up with you sooner or later. I'm thinking a couple of the local 'urban outdoorsmen' probably rolled him in an alley for the hooch, then shoved the roses up his tuchus for good measure.

Last year was Poe’s 200th B-day. Coincidence?
