The photos of him as a kid show a very different expression. Though he has the same basic features that he did as a child, there is a fundamental change in his facial expression. In fact, so much of a change that he appears to be a different person.

I have always (since his emergence on the stage) thought that was quite odd about Obama. Most folks don't exhibit that much or that kind of change.

My first thought several years ago when I first saw photos of him as a kid compared to him as an adult was..."pod person"!

The outfit is appropriate for a winter funeral, especially of a casual acquaintance. I wore pants to my own mother's January funeral and burial. It's no big deal.
