Celebrating its 20-year anniversary and 450th episode, The Simpsons stands alone. Of course, it's a splendid isolation as, officially, the longest-running prime-time show in television history and, unofficially, as the most successful and influential creation in pop culture history. Simply put, The Simpsons has changed the world we live in.

I have loved watching the Simposons these last 20 years. Some seasons not so good but they have been funnier lately.AWB
I stopped following The Simpsons some years back. I don’t have anything against the show, I just felt the overall quality started slipping and it wasn’t as funny as previous years. (I’m sure there are those who disagree rather strongly on that point - c’est la vie).
Of course, I’m also of the opinion that if there were any justice in the television world, The Critic would now be in its 15th or so season. :-)
Really Awesome. The Three Stooges WITH CARS!
I’m also a fan of Top Gear..
I give them 20 more years. then they are done. I don’t think kids watch them anymore. It’s the 30 to 50 crowd now. And our days are numbered.
They said that about Star Wars...
Slainte..
I never watch the primetime airings, but I do watch the re-runs late at night while dozing off.... only because it came on right after King of the Hill.
My 12 year twins (boy&girl) and all of their friends are die-hard Simpson fans. It has caught on with the next generation.
Any examples?
You know those things aren’t mutually exclusive, I knocked down 200 pages of reading while watching the games yesterday. It’s funny how addicted to assumptions the anti-TV people are.
Must’ve been a great game.
They were fine games, but I’m a multi-tasking guy. I watch TV and read, or watch TV and play video games, or watch TV and FReep, or listen to music and do the above, or maybe none of the above. Which is my point, you assume that just because somebody watches that’s all they do, and we all know about assume.
