Orszag acknowledges out-of-wedlock child

White House Budget Director Peter Orszag released a statement Wednesday about the birth of a daughter out-of-wedlock.

The mother of Tatiana Zoe is Orszag's former girlfriend, Claire Milonas. She gave birth on Nov. 17, months after she and Orszag broke off their relationship.

Orszag has since become engaged to ABC News reporter Bianna Golodryga, whom he met in April at the White House Correspondents Association Dinner in Washington.

The joint statement from Orszag and Milonas said the two were in a committed relationship until the spring of 2009.

“In November, Claire gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Although we are no longer together, we are both thrilled she is happy and healthy, and we would hope that everyone will respect her privacy,” the statement read.

The statement was released in response to questions about the child from The New York Post, which first reported on the story.

Milonas is the daughter of Greek shipping magnate Spiros Milonas. She is the founder of Ionian Ventures, a venture capital firm in New York.

Barnyard morality.

Squirrels and geese exhibit a higher moral standard than these people.

Some teenage girl in Alaska had a child out of wedlock not too long ago and the Democrats went ballistic and made it clear that such an event is the kiss of death for anyone related to such a person.

But I guess if you're the White House Budget Director, and you are intimately involved in the event, it's perfectly fine.

Why isn’t Barack Hussein Obama talking about how this single mother has been punished with a baby?

Boy, you ain’t kidding, ClearCase_guy!

Orszag should have quit his job and stayed home, then this would’ve never happened.

Their definition of committed seems to be a bit different from mine....

The beauty of it, of course, is that if there are no rules that you have to follow, then you can do anything you want and never be accused of being a "hypocrite". As we all know, the worst thing -- the ugliest thing -- that any human being can be is a "hypocrite". Democrats are never "hypocrites".

Republicans, on the other hand, are foolish enough to have standards of behavior and moral principles. Now, humans being human, Republicans are pretty much guaranteed to sometimes fall short of the ideals that they hold dear. WHAM!! That means a Republican is a "hypocrite". And every decent person hates a "hypocrite".

This worldview works out nicely for Democrats.

Sounds like he was ‘committed’ until mom announced her pregnancy. What a shocker.
