Wonderful graphic, Meg!
;o)
While I like the ponies and the song, y’all gotta quit with having snow in every picture. You need to do snow pictures in July and tropical pictures in January.
|
Now that’s a good picture for winter.
Thank you Meg. We are really getting drenched!!!! So far we have power, and no flooding here. I understand in Northern Calif there have been high winds!
So true, JC.
That reminded me of one of my favorite verses:
BE STILL,
AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD
Ps.46:10

Yes, it snowed yesterday, with great big flakes, for about an hour. (Of course it melted right away.) Then, it rained a soft drizzle the rest of the day.
But, the sky is getting very dark right now - something is coming in from the west.
Oh yes, yorkie! Perfect verse for those moments when we are stopped in our tracks. What a darling little graphic!
I heard some ladies talking about bad storms on their way...do you know if thats in California where Lori and Amy live? They live in different parts but they were discussing winds and storms, etc. My computer is once again running so slow just like yesterday afternoon. Just for that, I think I will take a little nap.....LOL!’
I think the business in Massachusetts could cause computers and programs to mess up. I can’t wait to see how it comes out. They’re not doing exit polling so we can’t even get a clue. Hope they don’t start that cheating that the Dems do so well. See ya later!
When I was Precinct Chairman, we had an equal number of Republicans and Democrats at the polling places. Each watched the others!
But, now, with all the corruption in (ahem) a certain party, the computers may be hacked to go the way they are so desperate for!
We’ll know in a few short hours what the ‘outcome’ is.
Grin...I had a productive day planned but I am frittering away time..waiting on the election results....and that will be a long wait!
Good news...I watched some of your news on the weather channel earlier..I lived in Ca during a long drought...but found any measurable rain in Ca can cause flash flooding.
Sweet!
Here is my contribution to the horse/snow theme today - a pair of beautiful Clydesdales....

Exhaustion got the better of me today and I slept through breakfast and lunch, so dinner is on me tonight.
DINNER
Appetizers
pastry shell filled with crab meat and cheese
or
meat balls batter coated and lightly fried to perfection, with dipping sauce
Salad
Shredded greens and pan seared squash, beans, and carrot slices, with a light balsamic vinegar tarragon dressing
Main Course
Steamed lobster tails, with drawn butter
or
English Shepard’s Pie (meat, veggies and gravy under a layer of mash potatoes)
Garlic Mash potatoes with a rich brown gravy
Mini loves of fresh 9-grain bread with whipped honey butter and assorted preserves.
Dessert
Chocolate Mousse filled Eclairs with cashew crusted caramel topping.
After dinner there will be a fine brandy and cigars by the fireside for those connoisseurs, and for those less inclined to brandy and cigars, there will be a selection of Sherbets and a delicate blending of wine and fruit juices as we chat the hours of the gathering night away in companionable indulgence.
That's a beautiful view you have out your window.
I heard about the Orange County tornado. Was it near you? Be careful!
