Exhaustion got the better of me today and I slept through breakfast and lunch, so dinner is on me tonight.
DINNER
Appetizers
pastry shell filled with crab meat and cheese
or
meat balls batter coated and lightly fried to perfection, with dipping sauce
Salad
Shredded greens and pan seared squash, beans, and carrot slices, with a light balsamic vinegar tarragon dressing
Main Course
Steamed lobster tails, with drawn butter
or
English Shepard’s Pie (meat, veggies and gravy under a layer of mash potatoes)
Garlic Mash potatoes with a rich brown gravy
Mini loves of fresh 9-grain bread with whipped honey butter and assorted preserves.
Dessert
Chocolate Mousse filled Eclairs with cashew crusted caramel topping.
After dinner there will be a fine brandy and cigars by the fireside for those connoisseurs, and for those less inclined to brandy and cigars, there will be a selection of Sherbets and a delicate blending of wine and fruit juices as we chat the hours of the gathering night away in companionable indulgence.

We have had rain storms today and I do not feel like cooking.

Johnn, I think I will have the salad and the Steamed lobster tails, with drawn butter and sherbet for dessert.
I almost starved this morning waiting for that special breakfast.....LOL!
