Hi there, Amy. Thank you! I agree the snow graphics are beautiful, and I’m still enjoying LOOKING at them, but I am not a cold weather person unless I can be inside where it’s warm! :)
Thanks, jaycee! The song “My Best Days are Ahead of Me” is by Danny Gokey - 3rd place on American Idol last year. I like his voice. Will probably buy his album when it comes out in a few weeks. :)
Same here. I shut down the computer for an hour or so, but now the sun is coming out. Looks like we have some wind damage in the neighborhood, but none on our property that I know of. Just some branches down across the street. High winds make me nervous.
Anyway, while the sun is out I am going to make a quick run to the bank and grocery store. We have more storms coming in this week and I want to hunker down and not have to go out.

We are getting the tail end of your first storm today. It has been raining and SNOWING here, all day.
It will be raining every day until Sunday, here......but up in the High Country (Flagstaff), they could get up to seven feet of snow!
Thursday, will be the last storm moving into CA, and it is going to be a doosie!

You too, yorkie. We can sure use the rain here, but the wind makes me nervous. I need to run over and see my MIL, hope I can get there and back in between storms. It's looking real dark and storm to the north.
From the weather channel, they are saying there are three storms - but the one on Thursday will be the strongest. Stock up on food, water, and candles, would be my recommendation.

Polly, did you enjoy the biscuits and gravy? Johnn won’t serve anything warmed over....he says its always fresh. Better get here early in the morning as its on the menu.....LOL!

Seriously, all this talk about breakfast, and being a holiday with grandson and daughter home from school, I fried Maple Bacon and fixed waffles for lunch! ....with heavy rains outside it was a cozy feel! Fire in the Fireplace and all!
Sounds so pleasant and cozy!
