Rush should probably be careful with pain pills...we sure need him...thank God it wasn’t a massive heart attack

Medication for Back Pain May Have Contributed to Rush Limbaugh Chest Pains

There is a certain amount of negative innuendo, in light of Rush's prior addiction problem to narcotics. An equally plausible explanation might be that he was taking a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that are well known to cause esophago-gastric irritation, up to the point of ulceration and bleeding. Know what an inflamed esophagus feels like? Bingo- chest pain. Many emergency room visits for chest pain are due to GI upset.

Good to hear that Rush is on the road to recovery... can’t imagine how much more difficult it would be to reverse this socialist clown and his administration without Rush in the fight.

Three months ago I had to have surgery to relieve my back pain, which was a result of lower lumber stenosis. The decision to have surgery was one that took me seven years to get to, but at least it wasn’t in the cervical area... definitely a delicate and risky surgery that requires an extremely talented neurosurgeon.

This is just snarky of Fox News - Rush has been off the dependency for some time now.

That aside, we need you, Rush (some days, almost pathetically so, but it is real). God is not yet ready for you to return the talent He has so graciously lent to you.

Keep on trucking.

20 years ago, I ended up in the hospital for ‘chest’ pains. It turned out to be my neck. I never had ‘neck’ pains prior to this event. anytime that I now have ‘chest’ pains, I do a simple exercise of improving my posture, and tucking in my chin. It is ‘neck’ pain. Hopefully, Rush’s problem is based on his neck (vertebrae problems).

Media reports and truth are not always compatible.

Let’s wait until we hear directly from the man.

Like people said, we need to hear from Rush directly but I would not be surprised if this is correct. Oxycontin addiction is hard to kick especially if you are under a lot of pain.

We all have our own hangups and habits in our life. Rush had this one. I pray that he continues to fight this thing so he can live many more years to fight for this nation.

That’s what happens when a bunch of speculators mouth off on FR, and other sites, about events, or a person’s life, that they know nothing about: headlines

I mistakenly read a report about Rush’s latest condition, it start out rather informative then turned into the biggest pack of lies, hate and innuendos I’ve ever read. The hate-filled liberal who wrote it should be committed to an insane asylum- he is truly out of control, almost sounded suicidal with caustic bile eating up his insides, amazing the amount of ignorance and hate that the liberals carry around with them. Rush seems to be doing well and millions are praying for his recovery. Get well, Rush, America needs your observations, humor and political savvy.

24/7 listeners will know Rush has complained about a pinched nerve in his neck. That sometimes he has to stand, saying it doesn’t look good on the ditto cam.

Back pain severe enough for medication and golf just don't go together. Unless the back pain was brought on by the day's round of golf it makes zero sense.

I am a former golfer who stopped playing because of back pain.

I'd be interrogating the pharmacy staff right now, and haul in anyone who is a registered (D) or contributed to His Kenyaness's campaign.

And I am not kidding either.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

I had a similar problem with some pain meds prescribed by an Air Force Flight Surgeon some 22 years ago. The pains seemed to indicate a heart attack but it wasn’t, everything was normal. It seems that the medication caused my back and chest muscles and diaphram to spasm pretty painfully but it was not my heart.
