Please forgive the ping.
Many of you have probably seen “Blind Side”, the movie.
It is excellent, it espouses Christian values, and it is very uplifting in a “down” time.
Hope some who have not seen it but would enjoy such a heartwarming, faith boosting, film based on a true story - will be able to find time to do so over this Christmas season.
If not now - see it when it comes out on video.
But if you could use a “lift” to your spirits - well - this movie may be for you.
It was for me and I am so glad to have seen it today! It came at just the right time....for me. Maybe it will for you too.
(Again, if this is not your cup of tea or if you’ve seen it already - please excuse the ping and have a very Blessed Christmas!)
Thank you for telling us about a movie that just might be
worth watching. I haven’t seen many lately because they have
gotten so coarse and nasty.

Forgive the ping? I am delighted!
We NEED a lift in CHRISTmas spirits.
I had to have this entire day away from news. I started my day at early Mass. I feel rejuvenated and I think I’ll check to see if the local theater has the movie playing. Fingers crossed.
Wow, sounds good and thanks for the ping.
Sandra Bullock looks different with the blond hair but her figure looks great.
Thank you for the ping..I don’t keep up with new movies anymore..but this one sounds wonderful.
I’ll remember to close my eyes at the beginning.
Thank you very much for the ping! Merry Christmas!
Thank you for the gift of your ping!
I saw The Blind Side a couple of weeks ago - and I LOVED it! My football fan husband dragged me out to see it.
It was the best movie I had seen in ages - who the heck am I kidding - it was also the first movie I had seen in ages. (Why pay $ to go get depressed or told what a rotten country America is when I can listen to President Obama do that for free!)
Anyways - I’m glad you enjoyed it and hope other FReepers will too.
One of the best movies I’ve ever seen.
Thank you for the info about “Blind Side”, Freedom’sWorthIt.
I’ll look forward to seeing it.
yeah. I saw it and loved it.
Of course, I adopted two older children, so love any story that shows adoption in a good light (usually liberals hate adoption, you know)...
Yes, he was too “old” to adopt, so they became his guardians, but emotionally he was their son.
