I thought I saw Rick Lazio on one of the local political talk shows discussing why he was the best candidate for the seat.
Too bad. He would have been better than Gillibrand.
Rudy already said he wouldn’t run for guv either, didn’t he?
Hmm..so he doesnt want to be the governor, now he doesnt want to be a senator. So what does he want to be? President?
He is probably as good as anyone else..even tho he pooped out last time.
Cheers!
Rudy would be an EXCELLENT governor for New York. I sincerely hope he decides to run for that office.
FWIW Dick Morris guaranteed Hannity that Rudy was not running last week.
He already said no to that.
He should run for guv. As long as he stays away from muddying the presidential race, I’m fine.
Somebody’s got Rudy’s number. I can’t think of any other reason why a guy with his personality isn’t running for everything available. There’s something dirty on him and the wrong people have it, I bet.
Rudy’s demonstrated executive talents would be wasted in the Senate but much needed in Albany where the office of governor has been a joke for too long.
Has he really said he’s not interested in running for governor?
How about, Giuliani is not conservative at all. He's no better than Romney or Obama.
Conservatives don't support liberals, period!
Rep. Peter King of Long Island will be the front runner and would destroy Gillibrand in any debate. That’s if Gillibrand is the nominee.
My guess is he won’t run against Mario’s son.
Lazio is nice guy... and very much yesterday’s news.
be well.
My sources say his comment today made no mention of the Guv race.
Yes, he did say he wasnt running for governor..I believe he said that, some time in november.
Ahh..its here:
http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/11/19/rudy-guliani-not-running-for-new-york-governor-next-year/
it would be a tough race if he ran against “Mario’s son”.
If he had to run against Patterson, he wouldnt even have to campaign...but, against Andrew Cuomo..well, thats another story.
He did not poop we did.
