We’re told when cops arrived to the scene, Henry was still in the middle of the road, and suffering from “life threatening injuries.”
According to KYPost.com, Henry is believed to have suffered “severe head injuries.”

I heard he died.
It was only a matter of time with this knucklehead.
Ping
Indeed. Mike Brown (owner of the Bengals) has given this guy opportunities several times to redeem himself ... even against the advice of Lewis his coach. It looked like his confidence in Henry was paying off ... he was having a very good season up 'till his injury against the Ravens. Now this ...
Yes, and I believe the hospital has confirmed.
Oh that is sad. A life lost in this way. sigh........
Let’s hope another athlete takes notice and counts his blessings.
He has not passed away. Here is the latest:
Foxsports.com is reporting that Henry is on life support and the situation is dire. That is accurate.
Prayers for Chris Henry.
Evidently, there are conflicting reports. There was a fake Twitter account that claimed he had died. Sorry for jumping the gun.

Sad, on life support with a head injury, he’s a long way from being out of the woods. Perhaps with a little luck and being in good physical shape he can survive.
Whatever. He presumably has health insurance given his profession. Actions have consequences.
Following the story, he’s on life support. In these situations even if he wasn’t in a coma they induce a coma to decrease the risk of blood clots in the brain. Doesn’t sound good, even if he somehow survives. Note: I’m not saying he’s in a coma, that’s just my comment. The only accurate information from a Bengal beat writer is that he’s on life support.
I don’t know of him. How is he a knucklehead?

wife sounds like she may definitely be looking at manslaughter over this. if no witnesses(?), hard to know if it is possible to even charge with that, though. Will the nature of the injury/fall give enough to establish anything decisive (just thinking out loud)
