With Christmas less than 2 weeks away I thought it would be nice for us to share our favorite performance of Christmas songs. This is one my mine, Charlotte Church singing Oh Come,All Ye Faithful. I highly recommend her Christmas album, "Dream A Dream"

I should add that on Santa’s Gonna Bring My Baby Back To Me Tonight that Chuck Spera wrote the music and did all the instruments. Guitar, bass, key boards and drums.

(Who wouldn't love a song that begins "It Was Christmas Eve, in the drunk tank...").

Runners up:

Elvis, "Santa Claus is Back in Town":

Oh my! That’s the one I want right there. She’s adorable. Is she yours?

Btw, that was recorded in 1953, so it’s traditional in our household. So are the Chipmunks.

Of course! ;0)

The Chipmunks

That's always the first album we play when Christmas music season comes around. I bet we have a lot of Christmas music (and movies) in common.

My alltime favorite Christmas CD.

Songs of Angels

by Robert Shaw and the Chamber Singers.
If you like vocals, this is for you!
You can sample the music here.

Before I die I would love to experience an English Christmas. Hopefully I will be able to go before the Muzzies take over.

I'll not say that these are my favorites because thay are not but, they are interesting, unique and often funny. It's a big collection in 4 zip files and the guy obviously went to a lot of effort to put them together. I've downloaded them and they're clean (virus-wise) so if you're looking for unusual (and occasionally risque) Christmas music - look no more - you've found it.
