I hope he goes into therapy (drug rehap?) and becomes a better person. Then, I hope his wife leaves him. Tiger has a head full of bad wiring. He was raised to be one thing— a golfer. He should do that and not try to pretend he cares about anyone or anything else.

I think Tiger is a turd for his actions but the MSM has used this to take everyone’s mind off of the serious issues at hand.

I think that is a good thing for all concerned if true. Another story says he and his wife are heading off to Sweden to her new island house.

I hope that is true also. This should give them time to think about all these recent past events and attempt to get their lives and marriage back in order.........

I’ve enjoyed watching Tiger golf over the years. I’ve watched several dvds about his career and I remember one very interesting tidbit — Tiger himself said that his father told him that he thought there was something greater he would do with his life than golf. When I heard that I thought, “yeah, right”. But sometimes something so horrible happens in your life that it changes everything. Maybe this humiliation, nearly losing his wife and children (which may still happen), and some obvious substance abuse may be a huge wakeup call for him to get help and then we’ll see where he takes his life. I wish him well ... and that he get well. Instead of thinking that he is completely done, I really hope that he can come out of this with something much better in his life.

He was raised to be one thing— a golfer. He should do that and not try to pretend he cares about anyone or anything else.

You can't be serious. He is married with children now. He has a serious responsibility to them not his "career" in golf. I don't care what he was "raised to be" he is what he is now, and that is a husband and a father. That comes before any thing else. When you take the vow at marriage you state "forsaking all others" you will remain faithful. That is a vow you make at marriage. It is time for him to come to grips with that vow. Golf can come later, maybe.

“...Tiger’s 125 ft yacht..”

More like 155 feet.

I'm not nit picking here - however, a 155 foot yacht costs about twice to three times more than a 125 foot yacht.

Rush did mention the provisioning and that they may take a: “...Caribbean cruse...” and that there would be: “...helicopters taking pictures...”

This yacht is a craft that can travel 5,000 NM without stopping. My guess is that they head directly off shore (out of helio range) towards Scandinavia and then changes course to...

IMO, he doesn’t deserve a 2nd chance.

"A smart move (not that he appears any too bright, these days) would be to lay low until Augusta...no way will they give him a hard time at the Masters...most tightly controlled and reverential Tiger crowd in the universe..."

That would be a smart move. Although, I don't know if he'd head to Augusta without any competitive play under his belt.

That’s a mistake. Golf is where he’ll repair his image. Learn the lesson of A-Rod, hide for a while, come out, kick butt, and pretty soon the past is in the past. No matter when he comes back, his first tourney will be a circus, so there’s no avoiding that, get it out of the way and get back to business.

Best wishes Tiger!

Fix your marriage and family life, and get yourself straight and clean.

When you come back, be everything you want to be, make us proud of your turnaround story!

As you get older and ook back...most see that family is the most important thing...a job is a way to earn money and although you may love it and do it well, it's still just a way to earn a buck...

Tiger should have pictured himself down the road before he took these little side jobs...

Well said. And unlike what someone else just posted here, we all deserve a chance to redeem ourselves. I’m as disappointed as anyone, but maybe he can turn this ugly story into something positive. We’ll see you in 2011 Tiger!

When he returns maybe the world will be ok again and we have elected a team of representatives and a leader who will return us to the values this country was founded on

Not buying the “family” bit. He and his handlers are figuring out a way to rehab Tiger’s public personna, otherwise, their money dries up. He’s a serial womanizer and I don’t believe that’s gonna change. No way. He does not get a pass for outlandish, adulterous behavior because he’s a fine golfer. One of the things wrong with our country is all these public figures, atheletes, politicians, tv and movie stars, flaunting dreadful behavior then being rewarded for it, For example, Letterman.

His first priority needs to be repairing his marriage/family. If that means taking a hiaitus from golf than so be it. It's not like he's hurting for money.

An affair is something which can be forgiven.

Cheating with at least a dozen woem, some as many as 20 times, and among these includeing 2 porn stars, while his wife ifs pregnant.

If you believe all of this, en total, is forgivable, I would love to see you if the shoe was on the other foot and you were the one in Elin’s shoes.

He is a POS.
