No, it is not.
Where have I been? Right here, apparently reading more important things than why she isnt wearing her ring.
...at least she is also wearing a big cross around her neck!
She is hot in that picture
So what if she isn’t wearing a wedding ring? That means nothing. I have been Happily married for 52 years this month, I am not sure where my wedding ring is as I haven’t worn it in years. Looking for a reason she might choose NOT to wear it now I can come up with a pretty good one. It would be shaking hands with enthusiastic fans numbering in the thousands.
RE: “Does Castro have three buttons on the side of his hat like Palin does? I dont think so...”
***************
The big covered buttons do make a difference == not Castro-like certainly. Her outfit seems black and brown — green is OK with it == the hat has no markings on it and is not canvas — what on earth is going on? Like it or don’t like it people, it’s not a Castro hat.
Hey, Obama wants his private Army, Sarah is our Military Leader, Wolverines !!! ?
So dumb — has no one heard of OLIVE GREEN? Very popular color in the sixties and not because of anything political. I recall a cute olive green suit I had in junior high with short jacket and yep, covered buttons. Power blue was the coordinating color of choice then.
The big combos were powder blue and olive green; cranberry and pink, powder blue and chocolate brown; mint green and beige (OK, that last one was 9th grade class ‘color.’)
This whole thing is ridiculous. It’s a hat, it’s not canvas, it’s olive green with big fabric covered buttons. Send one to Fidel and see if he’ll wear it!
Anyone thinking Palin’s hat is definitely Castro-like believe Castro would wear something totally feminine like big covered buttons on a hat? LOL!
Yep...everything goes with black.....
Looks like a retro-60s style hat. I think she looks cute.
Re the missing ring: when weather is cold, and it has to be cold to be snowing like that, fingers tend to shrink and rings can fall off. I nearly lost a family heirloom ring that way and it was 58 degrees outside. That could be the reason for ‘no ring.’
In warmer temps, forget the ring as I can’t get it ONTO my swollen finger.
But what difference does it make? I know plenty of other happily married women who rarely wear a ring of any kind — do all men wear wedding rings? NO!
Unless it’s got a name or logo on it it’s just a hat. I’ve got one of those Russian fur hats, doesn’t make me a communist, but it does make me warm in the snow.
No welders here? This is very much like a welder’s hat. They need a small bill because of the face plate which flips down to protect their eyes when welding.
She signs books with her right hand and usually shakes hands with her left. She looked quite thin to me (much more so than during the campaign last year). The ring is likely pretty loose; I could see not wearing it in that situation. She’s had it on in TV interviews, at speeches, etc.
Agreed
This is getting ridiculous. Castro has no claim to her hat. I have a picture of an ancestor who wore a similar hat before Castro was born. It is just a hat, not even identical to his.
