When someone has no valid complaint, make a personal attack.
If she’s like me, she doesn’t wear it because of her son Trig (I’ve got twins his age, and after scratching my son, off went the ring except for super special occasions).
Let’s see. Seems the majority of places where she is making book tour stops she spends 3-4 HOURS signing over 1000 autographs. Is it just so hard to imagine that after repeating that for many days in a row, her hands might be SWOLLEN and tender and wearing rings uncomfortable??
C’mon, people! Common sense should reign here, figure these things out instead of seeing all kinds of conspiracy!
Sarah actually addressed that (wedding ring) during the campaign last year but I have forgotten what she said as I didn’t think it important.
I had a hat much like it except it was white.
My wife wears a hat like that during cold month. Never thought about it being a Castro hat....lol
Doesnt look like it. Im not wearing mine either. Made dumplings to go in the chicken soup the other night and after everyone had eaten noticed the ring gone. Someone may find a special surprise when they go to the head.

Making an observation that she isnt wearing a ring is just that- an observation.
Sometimes it seems that people need to fire flak because they think someone is targeting something.
What’s funny is that I adore Sarah, as most on this forum do. So no conspiracy, it was nothing but an observation, but you can take it however you like.

I was just curious. I have taken mine off for specific reasons, using certain power tools, throwing clay pots, things like that.
I own a Harley Davidson blue-jean hat similar to what Palin is wearing, and definitely was NOT thinking CASTRO when I bought it. Was thinkin’ “What a cute, stylish hat”. They look really good on and palin is the perfect example of that. She just has really good taste and looks really good, and many people can’t handle that about her. Her whole outfit “Rocks” especially those shoes! Palin is AWESOME, BACK OFF!
IMO it's kinda ugly on her, actually... doesn't suit the shape of her face at all.
Ridiculous!? A thread that STARTS with a great photo of Sarah with the snow falling? (That said, as good as she looks in that hat - it’s not my style. But, I’ll take one of those hats over a Michelle belt any day!)
1. Per last year’s campaign: She doesn’t wear her wedding ring when she’s going to be meeting lots of people ‘cause she shakes people’s hands with both of hers, and after a thousand hand squeezes, the ring hurts her fingers.
2. Okay, say it is a Castro hat. She was probably foreshadowing her Communist joke for the Gridiron dinner later that night. You know, the one about the airline passenger who looked at the magazine she was reading that had Chinese premier Hu Jintao and Obama on the cover and said “Hu’s the Communist.” Palin told the Gridiron crowd that she thought the passenger was asking a question.
So there’s your conspiracy theory regarding the hat .../sarc
Mel Torme owned a huge gun collection, and liked shooting. Palin owns guns and likes to shoot, too. Hmmmmm, this requires more investigation.
First thing I thought of was Mary Tyler Moore throwing her hat in the air with her boots and short skirt!

It’s nothing wrong with making an observation, but this has been discussed ad nausuem over and over to the fact that SHE said that with her shaking so many peoples hand in public she doesn’t wear her ring becuase it’s hurt.....so the question is where have you been over the entire year?
Snow falling and toes showing. I like her more every day.
Edit- ...while she was wearing her boots and short skirt. Although the former would have been interesting to see as well!
