Mike Huckabee Defends His Clemency Decision on "The View" - 12/3/09

Here is video of former Arkansas Mike Huckabee defending his decision to grant clemency to Maurice Clemmons in 2000. Clemmons killed four police officers in the Tacoma, Washington area last weekend, and was subsequently shot and killed by police as they tried to apprehend him.

Huckabee said Clemmons had committed robbery and burglary as a 16 year-old, and received a sentence of 108 years. After serving 11 years, Huckabee got the file and decided to commute the sentence to 47 years, which made him parole eligible. The parole board then let him go.

Huckabee said if he had that file in front of him again with the same knowledge and situation, he would make the very same decision.

Huckabee did not explain why he granted 1,000 clemencies during his time in office, nor did he mention the Wayne DuMond case - a man he granted clemency who went to Missouri where he raped and murdered Carol Sue Shields. . . . (VIDEO)

Poor Huckabee. He was on a book tour when Clemmons shot the cops. Instead of promoting his book, Huckabee has to be defending his decisions for granting clemencies.

Huck, you are a RINO. You still are Huckaphony. You have no chance in hell being around in 2012 to run for POTUS.

Mr. Huckster should be thrown in the toilet for simply appearing on the view.
Not to mention being a damned RINO turd.

Frowning takes 68 muscles.
Smiling takes 6.
Pulling this trigger takes 2.
I'm lazy.

One can only hope Fox News Channel finally wakes up and gets rid of Huckabee. Then he can go dress up in drag and become a permanent panelist on The View. Maybe he’d like to weigh in on the Roman Polanski case. I’ll predict that Huckabee feels sorry for Polanski.

By the way, how many GOP primary voters and caucus-goers watch The View? Three or four? Maybe Huck is planning to switch parties.

The View is the soapbox of last resort for a “conservative”! Maybe Oprah and Dr. Phil will give him a slot.
