I thought I read late last night that the case was already tossed out. It was late and I was sleepy, so I could be wrong.
I didn’t realize this, but AT&T dropped their lawsuit against Verizon on Wednesday.
The only reason to do this....they KNOW they would lose in court.
They didn’t stand a chance in hell.
It doesn’t matter one whit legally that Edge may be slightly faster than the slowest service on Verizon. That’s something for an AT&T ad.
What matters is 3G v 3G, and real 3G coverage is much better on Verizon, period.
I have my Storm tethered to my macbook, using it as a broadband modem, and I can talk on the phone at the same time. I wouldnt do that handheld anyway.
You’ll notice that I’m not the only one saying this.
We spent thousands of dollars at my client’s place to find out which network had the best coverage. We continue to spend money to check on a regular basis. The answer - still ATT.
Yup, which means they’re not using Verizon’s service either.
Which should tell you something.
You live in a bubble. Either that or I do. because what you are saying is completely bassackwards from reality where I am. If verizon phones can’t get service in a given area, then no one can. If there’s only one phone that works in a group of people, you can bet your ass it’s a verizon phone.
We’re not talking about just phones. We’re talking about phones + data - we have field reps who MUST be able to VPN in to the corp network to do their jobs.
In the more remote sites they travel to in the US, they are often the only people on site with usable signal at all. Notice the word ‘usable’. VZ phones and data cards will often claim they have signal, but then either not make the call/connection, or be unusable. Still.
Point of fact, I do indeed have an iPhone.
God sir, you talk as if you worship Apple. Get a life.
