"Oh, no. It's Sarah Palin and the new Conservative Party. We're doomed. Could the Pelosi Army save us?"
Sounds like something Obama might say, congrats!
Obama would likely approve of your comments.
I’ll take sunny and 60’s any day. The only thing better would be sunny and 70’s. Trade with you?
We had snow and bad roads and it took me an hour and a half _extra_ to drive 20 some miles home last night.
I’d gladly trade, but I’m not sure you would really want to...it’s 49 here today, supposed to snow tomorrow...and the people here turn off all brain power when the sky releases any weather...oh who am I kidding, the is the DC suburbs...brains get shut down the moment you enter the general area. :P I’d probably have adjusted to here better if we had come from anywhere else, but after living in Texas...well...’nuf said.
True that. I am also from Texas, arrived here way too many years ago. I did note interesting behavior. People seem to slam on their brakes at the sign of the first flake. The cars being abandoned on various bridges and interstates were an oddity to me at first.
The whole milk, bread and toilet paper runs on the grocery stores which I thought was a joke are true. Reporters standing in the middle of Rockville Pike, Rt 7, and other places with colorful costumes awaiting the dreaded 1-2 inches are fun.
Of course, the obligatory news alert from the hardware stores showing local residents buying snow shovels, ice melter and other items at the last possible minute are always entertaining.
The expected high here today is 27, currently 19, w/ windchills in the single digits.
49 is shorts weather...
And all brain power was turned off during y-days ‘snow event’, too. They call them snow events these days. Sigh...
But point taken re: the general area... ;-)
"Awe shit! Is that Joe Biden running naked through the audience again!!!???"
LOL I love the grocery store rushes. Bread, milk, beer, toilet paper and frozen pizza!
I should totally go out for those needed items tomorrow...we might get a flake or two.
*hopes hubby gets stationed in Alaska someday..because I sure do love snow*
I was thinking that MOO-Shell looked nice this time,k\ until I saw the photo of the coat open. holey carp, what is in her right pantz pocket??
