I dont see how the movie watching populace can suspend reality for this crap. You mean the same movie watching populace that convinced themselves Tom Cruise is a credible fighter pilot and super spy?

You mean the same movie watching populace that convinced themselves Tom Cruise is a credible fighter pilot and super spy? I guess....
but there ARE fighter pilots and there ARE spies...super or otherwise...
There is also possibilities for future science advances to make palpable fiction out of it.
but there are NO vampires...

That's true. Bram Stoker's Dracula had some pretty steamy stuff in it, for the time. Of course, it's too lame for our non-literate public school population today. That said, the actress' quote is so completely inane as to wonder, "How does she know?" An earlier poster brought up the point that vampires are not real. Just how far have we drifted when the viewing audience needs this reminder?

There is wide variation in the habits and function of fictional vampires, being as how they’re made up.
Anoreth got about three chapters into the first “Twilight” book and said, “UNNNGH! It’s worse than that Barbara Cartland book I read when I had the flu and there was nothing else in the room!”

That’s why I like her. She reminds me of a young lady I used to know when I was in college years ago.
