Your best price for gold was last night. It got down to 1140.
This is a dollar up, stocks down, treasuries up, metals down kind of day.

Weird that they would even open. They should have been off today. I also would think that people would be to interested in their shopping to worry about selling their stocks....or is this away to pay for their shopping. :)

This is follow through from all the other markets in the world being open and down yesterday / last night.

Traders are being asked today not to start a panic.....i.e. shut off the computer trading programs.

I think it will fluctuate until around 3 PM today...then the real sell off will start......let’s not forget the Dubai firms have several investment trading arms and are looking for a stop gap in case the Dubai World ‘Stay Payment Deal’ offer tanks. They will need the cash come Monday.

I thought the market was only open until 2 pm the day after Thanksgiving.
It will be very interesting to see what happens in the Asian markets over the weekend.

No big whoop. The markets will absorb the news over the next few days and come back. I doubt it was news to banks that Dubai was over extended.
