I often take my Yorkie with me to ‘pick up’ stores and he climbs in my lap to look at the service window. Trying to imagine his surprise if this happened, lol.

Thanks for the post, S911! And, thank you so much for the ping, Joe! This is a happy story, and we need all the happy stories we can get.

It’s so true about animals soothing the human spirit. I was talking on the phone earlier this morning to a woman who has just returned home from having surgery. She has dogs and they were thrilled to see her. We were talking about their ability to soothe the human spirit, and bring such joy.
