I've seen some very disgusting computer cases owned by smokers. Is that your way of saying you support this incredibly arrogant liberal violation of not only contractual obligation, but personal freedom?

I didn’t know that Apple Computers were that sensitive. glad I have a PC.

So now Steve Jobs says that if you smoke, he wont honor your warranty! Talk about a control freak. Apple suckers paid 3x as much for their machines, and get treated like dirt.

Like staring at a computer monitor all day is good for you?
To: listenhillary
You shouldn't be near a Mac, Mr. President. Smoke voids the warranty.

I don’t see how this is possible, unless they were using their drive slot for an ashtray - in which case, yeah it’s a void.

All of which is irrelevant. One of the local Apple Stores near here (the first such store in fact) began to smell like an old boxing gymnasium a couple of years back.
They finally had to close it down to clean it to make it fit for human habitation.
Let's hope they fixed the problem ~ (customer sweat) ~ with modern technology.
If that environment didn't void warrantees I'd be surprised.

What a bunch of ( deleting words that will get me banned)
I’ve worked in some pretty vile places and I guarantee that a smokey computer is nothing.
They should watch Dirty Jobs on the Discovery channel.

I hear if you slice into a succulent Gaia-exploiting New York Strip within 10 feet of an Oh-so-hip Apple, it actually has the capability of packing itself up and moving out of your house.

Build your own computers from standard parts. They can be built to run much faster and cooler than name brand machines for far less money. ...can even add filters to avoid vacuuming the innards often. Warranties aren’t worth what they cost, and it’s easy to replace parts. Install Ubuntu Linux, if you want an operating system that’s easy to install and runs all of the 64-bit software that you’ll need and much more.
As for cigarette smoke (or greasy residues from sloppy, politically correct, corporate/government employee retards, their STD germs, etc.), it all washes off of the not-so-delicate machines.
