Not sure if the usual folks couldn't start the thread so here's one in case the real real thread doesn't start
Somebody posted on Twitter that the Patriots team bus sideswiped a parked police car on the way out of the parking lot after the game.

There is also a youtube tape of a Patriots Asst. coach tossing a camera man to the ground after the game. Stay classy, Pats.
Here's the video. I heard the guy was detained after the game.
That was one of the great games in recent years. I have a lot of respect for Belichik for calling that 4th and 2 call. I think he rightly determined that his defense could no longer stop the Colts because of fatigue and decided his likely chance of winning was hanging on to the ball. The Colts could have folded when the Pats went up 31-14 but they kept upping their intensity.
Despite the loss I think the Pats showed they are still a team to be reckoned with, so I did not lose any sleep over it...except for going to bed at midnight!! Plus I am still on the euphoria of the Packer victory over them Cowboys.
I'm not sure I would use the word "confident". Beli and me are just riverboat gamblers.
Huuuunnnnnnnnn... What was I dreaming about?
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Good game.
Surely someone made a mistake here. As a Browns fan, I don’t think I could take enough Prozac to get that optimistic. The Ravens are a five-star lock to cover the 11 point spread, and you guys aren’t even using the spread.
Yeah, while there might still be winnable games on the Browns’ schedule, this ain’t one of them. From here on in, any team with a competent running game is going to be pretty much impossible for the Browns to beat.
Also, psychology is totally on the Ravens’ side. The Ravens are fighting for their season, while the Browns are in complete disarray. Their coach and starting quarterback are barely on speaking terms, one of their running backs openly claims to be a member of the other team, and all the fans are talking about now is whether to hire Holmgren and/or fire Mangini and what to do with our #1 draft pick. Mangini may know he’s fighting for his job, but that hardly matters
when virtually the entire team hates his guts.
Unless something completely absurd happens, the Ravens win in a rout.
Pats defense wasn’t going to stop them. However, while people are scorching BB on this consider the following:
He didn’t juggle the catch, he didn’t fail to run down the field far enough to ensure a 1st down, didn’t get his ass kicked all game by a player 70lbs lighter than him, he didn’t throw a pick into double coverage and nor did he fumble on the goal line. He didn’t fail to cover WRs, TEs or RBs, nor did he fail to sack the QB. He also wasn’t the guy who bit on a stop and go route that allowed a TD and nor was he the guy who threw the perfunctory flag for pass interference that Indy always gets against the Pats.
Maybe if his players did their jobs then none of this conversation would be happening.
One day a fourth-grade teacher asked the children what
their fathers did for a living.. All the typical answers
came up — fireman, mechanic, businessman, salesman,
doctor, lawyer, and so forth.
However, little Justin was being uncharacteristically quiet, so when
the teacher prodded him about his father, he finally
replied,’ OK,, My father’s an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and
takes off all his clothes in front of other men and they put money in
his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home
with some guy and stay with him all night for money.
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly
set the other children to work on some exercises and then
took little Justin aside to ask him, ‘Is that really true
about your father?’
No, the boy said, ‘He actually plays for the Browns, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the class.’
Well, it’s not like we’re betting money on it or anything, so we just go with our gut. After Big ol’s Packers smacked down my Cowboys I don’t think anything will upset him this week. Stranger things happen, though, like when Orton got knocked out of the game and the Skins beat the Broncos.
It probably shows how crazy I am, but I thought it was the right call. The Colts hadn’t stopped the Pats all night, and the Pats had started giving up huge chunks of yardage on defense.
You got that right!
I thought it was the right call too and I assumed they would get the 1st down. But lets not forget there was an interception in the end zone and also a fumble in the end zone which means the Pats left 14 points on the table. The world will always point to the 4th and 2 play, but there’s always more to it than one play.
I didn’t get to watch the Cowboys-Packers game, but it appears what I’ve been saying has come to fruition. The Cowboys’ lack of depth will be their undoing. Colombo goes down, and there goes the offense. Jerry loves to spend for the top 22 players, but it’s the bottom 23 that will cost him in the end.
Big offensive linemen, like Flozelle Adams, have a lot of trouble with an outside speed rusher, and the linebackers, being in an upright, rather than a down position, can move laterally prior to the snap, making the adjustment a lot harder.
The Pokes will definitely miss Colombo, but the Packer defense was giving them fits even before he went down.
Oh, I figured. I was just taking a gratuitous opportunity to bitch about the Browns.
