Dem. Rep. Says Sexist GOP 'Repulses' Women
Meredith Shiner and I write today on the GOP's persistent trouble recruiting, retaining and attracting women, particularly in the House.
The exception seems to be among hard core conservatives, with Reps. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) and Virginia Foxx (R-NC), emerging as populist folk heroes on the right.
But that doesn't necessarily make them appealing to independent and moderate women, says Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), herself a rising star among a larger class of Democratic women.
Asked about Foxx and Bachmann, Wasserman Schultz, blasted away:
“This is a party that doesn’t respect women, a party that doesn’t believe women are equal to men,” she told POLITICO. “I don’t think [Bachmann and Foxx] attract women to their party,” she said. “I think they repulse women.”

Wasserman-Schlitz represents an 85% white district composed of old, New York jews. Her district was smack in the middle of the moronic folks who couldn’t figure out ballots in 2000. I say that the majority of GOP men treat women as superior and with great respect.
It does not “repulse” women. It “repulses” skanks.
This ultra conservative girl loves Palin and Bachmann for being strong, independant and ballsy. Methinks 99% of these so called women like the one who wrote the article are jealous.
The lib women I know HATE Palin and Bachmann with a passion. In fact, today, one of them said Bachmann is a ‘fringe crazy’ and those that follow her are ‘fringe crazies.’

Mrs. FD will not allow "equality" by any means! She properly demands her pedestal and will accept nothing less. If a man doesn't work for his woman he isn't a "man" by any useful definition of the word.
