Must everything in this Country be feminized? I am so sick of women and their overly feminized castrated cohorts constantly whining, "I want it safe, I want it fair". It's sport. There should be danger involved, otherwise, anyone, including Grandma in her Chevette could and would compete.

Thank God our forefathers weren't as ball less as most of you are today, otherwise we would still be living like ants on the east coast.

PS, let the quarterback get hit. He's supposed to be a football player too.

I don’t know, but in a Cessna 152 you start lifting the nose wheel at 50 knots in a normal takeoff (I’d say about 54 MPH), maybe 5 kts. faster in a 172.

“Why can’t they run half the race Counter Clockwise and half Clockwise...”

Because they’d end up with a net total of zero laps run!

Seriously though, who were the three media folks that NASCAR tried to get fired?

Nascar.com poll.......

DEGA was..........?

Good: 14%
Bad: 46%
Ugly: 40%

I vote horrible - Dale Jr was right, you just sit in the bus and go out and wait for you lottery # - that’s where you finish!

And to the tail draggers -—> Is it good racing when you can cruise around the back all afternoon and finish in the top ten with drivers that fought for the lead throughout the race?

Someone watching TWIN [I don’t anymore] said - “Tonight on TWIN Chad was doing his best to sell the product that their “strategy” of running in the back was the same as figuring fuel mileage. Spencer and Waltrip were selling the product of how good the race was and that the “fans” just didn’t understand it all. Since I’ve been watching races since before any of them were born, I ain’t buying. Do they think the fans are all dummies?

Chad was surprised that a lot of fans disapproved of Jimmie running in the back. It was funny when Michael said a lot of good cars were back there including his. All 3 spent the whole hour doing a sales pitch. It was awkward as heck.”

Hey, wait a minute - don't blame women for this!

You can blame Brian France, I can get you his address in Daytona if you like.

As far as football goes, I don't care anymore. I will keep my reasons to myself.

Wrap them in bubble wrap. Predetermine the winner. Weld the cars together. Govern the motors to keep them at a nice safe 55MPH.

Limp wristed whiners piss me off. Whatever happened to assumption of risk? Both for the drivers and for those in the stands?

Life is dangerous. If you don't want to except the risk, watch it from home...

Dustin’s conversation w/the three and the links is outstanding. It should be a “must-read” for all.

Thank you very much for finding/linking those two articles.

Pull the damn restrictor plates off and let ‘em run 220 if they think they can. If you really want to keep them slowed down under 200, then mandate a less powerful engine for those tracks—something that would let them run flat-out around 200 like they do now, but would still provide power for passing—instead of choking the V8s with a plate.

Every quick-fix solution NASCAR has tried has only made Daytona and Talladega MORE dangerous to race. Every year, it’s not “who’s got the fastest car” or “who’s got the best strategy,” it’s “who can avoid the Big One?”

That was DaleJr's solution but Michael Waltrip said he was wrong [on twitter] I've asked him to splain that but nothing yet. He's still trying to explain why he rode around the back of the field all day Sunday.
