My mom was always cold in the winter, no matter how high we kept the heat. It’s an age thing, I guess. My mother-in-law keeps it stifling hot in her apartment at Twin Oaks. The only time I am really warm is when I am visiting her - and then it is unbearably stuffy hot. I guess there is just no pleasing me. LOL.

Thank you Meg. After I posted to Lori, I went to the couch, went to sleep sitting up and head was down when I awoke. I remember making fun of my grandmother for doing that. Now, I am ‘her’....LOL!

LOL. Sounds like it.
How I would love to spend the winter in the islands. The Cayman Islands suit me just fine. ;-)

Good evening, Lori.
I’ve been cold all day. I’m headed for bed soon so I can get warm.
It doesn’t seem like too long ago that I was complaining about the heat. LOL

Caturday Fun
Caturday is made for Cats to romp, explore and play
Which makes it only slightly different from any other day
In that Our Pretty Ones have things to do to fill the time
Mostly Indoors, which creates a situation so sublime
For Tuxedoed Toms and their fair ladies to relax and promenade
Admiring the variety of lovely scented Flowers rising from velvety sod
Until our Curiosity is sated as the Sun slowly surrenders in defeat
And see if Our Pretty Ones have something delicious for us to eat!
My Pretty One has left an entirely empty House for me to stake my claim
With too many inviting deep shadows and corners than I can name
Though I'll try my best to seek them out and deftly unearth their treasures
Especially in My Pretty One's closet which keeps many mysterious pleasures
Called "Skirts" and "Blouses", "Dresses" and even flowing "Gowns"
Which makes this place the most delightful that I have found
And may have gotten a little bit out of hand earlier today
Making perfect sense for my impromptu Caturday foray!

Soft the voices that lift in praise,
and softer still the spirit we raise.
We humble ourselves before the King,
who set His words before us to ring.
We ask for others His grace and love,
treasuring the preciousness of the Dove.
We know we need His forgiveness true,
for such as we, all His children may do.
This day we hold His alone, most properly,
render homage to Him as is right you see.
Like children do we owe Him honor bound,
forever in awe of His love for us found.
