i thought the Hammer did a great job....the Dims made all kinds of fun of him on that hateful MSNBC...I only check in there for a few minutes to see if they are still as mean as usual...and they are!

I hope the prescription the doctor wrote for you will get you back up to par before the day is over.

Yes, it really would be lovely to sit in that setting and relax for a while.

I'm glad you like the frame - I find myself using that effect on so many graphics - it's on most of them I posted today - the look depends on the colors of the graphic it's used on and how much I want to blur it. :)

It was to be expected that MSNBC would have a blast making fun of him. Keith Olberman and Chris Matthews no doubt were the worst offenders.

I call Keith Olberman the ‘devil’. And Chris Matthews is ‘spit mouth’. He gets to talking so fast and hard, I have seen spit fly from his mouth more than once. And he also has that tingle in his leg when he listens to Obama speak! Oh my dear, what a bunch of nothings at that network!

I agree. They're pretty bad! Rachel Maddow is no sweetheart either though!

I'm going to post one more autumn graphic before 'dinner' - back later. :)

Billie, that graphic reminds me of El Paseo off of State Street in Santa Barbara - at least what I remember it looking like. It's been years since I've been there. Someday I want to go to San Antonio and stroll down the River Walk. My son and his wife went there recently. It sounds like a place I could spend all day.

What a busy day this has been! Just stopping in to say hello to everyone before we head out for dinner. Hope to have some free time to play on the computer tomorrow. Have a nice evening, everyone.

Lori, I went to San Antonio and the River Walk on St. Patrick’s Day, 1969. They had dyed the water green. It was incredible, and the people were so sweet!!!

I was served fresh squeezed orange juice every morning, with freshly made danish rolls. (The friends we went with, thought a mamma-to-be needed the best - and I got it there!)

Hi, Lori, sorry I missed you this evening.
If that graphic reminds you of El Paseo in Santa Barbara,
I know I would love to visit there, too!

You would love the River Walk. You would love it!

Your autumn graphics are so well done, you're always making improvements.

Hope to spend more time here, life has been hectic but I'm starting to get a handle on it (I hope) :)

Think the elections may be slowing things down here on FR. I've seen that happen before when the votes are being counted, a lot of people logging on at the same time.

*Good News* The good guys are winning this time! :)

Aqua! Hi, there! I've been watching Fox News off and on all night - and have the biggest smile on my face with the way things are shaping up after these elections!

Thanks for your nice compliments on the autumn graphics today. I keep saying they keep getting funner and funner to do. :)

Thank you, Amy, for keeping Amy's Place the sweet place it is for us to get together. :)

Doggone it, Aqua, the only new autumn graphic I have left is my goodnight one! Hope to see you tomorrow. :)

Seeds And Faith
Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. —Galatians 6:7

I read a fable about a man who was browsing in a store when he made the shocking discovery that God was behind a sales counter. So the man walked over and asked, “What are You selling?” God replied, “What does your heart desire?” The man said, “I want happiness, peace of mind, and freedom from fear . . . for me and the whole world.” God smiled and said, “I don’t sell fruit here. Only seeds.”

In Galatians 6, Paul stressed the importance of sowing seeds of God-honoring behavior, for “whatever a man sows, that he will also reap” (v.7). We can’t expect to experience the fruit of God’s blessings if we don’t recognize the importance of doing our part.

It helps to follow the example of others who have sown good seed. Author Samuel Shoemaker said that a good example can either inspire us or cause us to say, “Oh yes, he (or she) is like that. He is not troubled by temper or nerves or impatience or worry as I am; he is just a happier temperament.” Shoemaker continued, “It may not occur to us that perhaps he had to fight for his serenity, and that we might win if we would do the same.”

Are you weary of the way you are? Ask God for His help and begin sowing seeds of new actions and responses today. In due season the Spirit will give the increase.

We’re always sowing seeds in life
By everything we do and say,
So let’s make sure the fruit we reap
Comes from the good we do each day. —Hess

The seeds we sow today determine the kind of fruit we’ll reap tomorrow.
