I tasted tofu once. Didn't like it!!Amy, I can't imagine that anyone could like it!
I have a very good friend that appears to have a disorder called 'orthorexia nervosia'. She believes any animal products cause cancer. Any dairy products cause major health problems. Any canned products can kill you. Any 'white' food (like sugar, salt, flour or rice) will destroy your body. Any oil (except olive oil) is deadly! Fried foods are out to kill you!
She is to the point now, where she eats only organic fruits, vegetables or tofu, and juices everything!
And, I worry about her, cuz she has such a beautiful soul..........

Ahem. Johnn, you should go to your local Mall someday. Lord have mercy!
To: Pippin
Glad to hear about her great progress.
Good news, thanks Pippin.

And YOU were the one that almost got arrested by the Length Enforcement Officer For wearing a swim suit an inch too short! LOL!!!What can I say - I've got long legs. :)
To: yorkie
Congratulations!
I need to include more veggies in my diet. A vegetable snack and a dip is a good way to avoid munching on the wrong snacks.

Thanks, Jane. (But, I am dying for some beer battered deep fried fish - and some BUTTER on my toast!)
I am a butter lover - and haven’t had one drop of it for eight days. No eggs either. The cereal and fruit thing in the morning is getting old. Give me some blueberry pancakes and butter and syrup, with bacon and two fried eggs - and I’ll be one happy camper!
To: yorkie
Yum ... that is more like it. ;^)

Good evening, Meg. Thank you.
Love your fall basket of goodies.
Hope you had a wonderful day.
Shhh ... I left and took a nap. Seems like they are getting to being a necessity. :)

Thanks, Jaycee.
We always look forward to getting away for a few days. With Marissa in school, we look forward to school vacations.
I miss the family gatherings when we would have 20 or 30 people. They may have been chaotic but they were fun times.

My son’s church makes the old fashioned outside apple butter and some peach butter every year. They do about 3 whole weekends. Its fun to watch and delicious to eat. They even make some sweetened with Splenda and you absolutely cannot tell the difference. I got some of that as I’m supposed to watch my sweets.
My brother bought 4 pints when he visited and called back and wanted to order 6 more pints...he has to watch sugar too and absolutely loved this apple butter.
