There’s a pic out there of a BBQed camel. I believe it set some world record for largest BBQ. Of course that doesn’t mean that anyone ate it.

If you think the camels are bad, wait until you have a flock of Cockatoos in the tree outside of your motel room!

Roo tastes pretty good. A little grainy, but not bad.

Why not sell them as brides to Arabs who won’t likely have a real woman? We may very well pull out of this recession if they do that!

Sounds like they need some C-130 gunships to just mow them down.

Is camel good eating? Yes it is. We were in Australia earlier this year for a month, seeing the sights, riding the Ghan Train, Great Barrier Reef, Sydney, Ayer's Rock, Etc., Etc., Etc.
Almost all the restaurants (with the exception of McDonalds) have camel on the menu. It has the color, texture, and taste of veal. I would challenge you to tell the difference in a blind study.
One of our guides said that Australia is the only country in the world now that exports live camels. Especially back to the middle East.
You see camel tracks everywhere out in the outback. They and kangaroos are taking over. The biggest hazard on many of the golf courses are kangaroos. They love the easy grazing.

Think that’s bad? The USA had 60,000,000 donkeys last November and the resulting devastation has been appalling!
