Our "leaders" are idiots. Sadly this may get more support than any meaningful steps to stimulate our economy or keep our nation secure.
A bill is being passed around capitol hill, $3,500 in tax cuts for pet owners. Is this a good idea?
Thank you for participating in our poll. Here are the results so far.
Yes 38% (We love kittens and puppies. Vote for us!)
No 58% (We hate kittens and puppies and want them to suffer)
Undecided 4% (We don't have a clue but this button is sooooo shiny and pretty)

Our three dogs think it’s a great idea. They are holding out for full dependent status, however.

Our little dog is not cheap to look after, but NO WAY do I want her as a Tax deduction. Our Dog, Our Money, Our Expense.

Why stop there... get pets on the health entitlement and of course they should collect social security. ;-)

So, let me get this straight...I get more of a tax break taking good care of my pets than I do for my children?
To: AZ .44 MAG
I would take a tax credit; however, people need to see what the Congress critters are slipping into this bill. Of course, they can add to it if passed and that’s why I would have to say no.

Flip the coin ...
Increase the taxes for those who will not or can not have pets. i.e. family allergies
Just reason number 6118 to fire everyone within the beltway.

We just spent twelve hundred dollars on one of our dogs surgery and NO WAY do I support a tax cut for pets.

I don’t believe there’s a bad reason for a tax cut, it is after all my money.

My only complaint about the poll, is I couldn’t find the place where I could change my font to size 337,209, to respond “NO!”

I am never normally opposed to tax cuts no matter when or where, but this is insane. I would much prefer they cut the taxes the veterinarian pays. Then he could lower or keep down costs and fees. I have a bunch of pet cockatiels and a typical vet. visit costs $120 or more.
