...The original White House memo and not surprisingly the Task Force report contains multiple references to developing a national policy where Great Lakes and coastal regions are managed, “consistent with international law, including customary international law as reflected in the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea” - a 300-page treaty the U.S. has never ratified...

They'd consider it junk mail and toss it away, since it's nothing but a piece of garbage to them.

I think California is way out ahead on this

Marine Life Protection Act Initiative

Mixed reactions to new marine protection zones

The original White House memo and not surprisingly the Task Force report contains multiple references to developing a national policy where Great Lakes and coastal regions are managed.

1. Wouldn't Canada have some say regarding great lakes that border the USA?

2. Lake Michigan is not am international water being complete contained within the USA.

Thanks, and thanks for the links on Cali.

I looked up "Law of the Sea" and the first page I came to was a Council on Foreign Relations page, with a comment by John Kerry about how signing this 27 year old UN document would be great for America, which pretty much tells me all I needed to know. lol. If John Kerry says something from the UN is good for America, run!

CFR

UN's Law of the sea

The UN thing is pretty long and wordy, of course. Maybe I'll read it before Obama makes it illegal to go fishing at my local gravel pit.

And no, it will not be limited to the Great Lakes.

You mean the large pond I own, stocked with large fish I’ve fed for the past four years will be included in the bill?
Satire !

He will end up paying $5000.00 a lb for a fish.

Ever sooooo true !!!!

I would love taking these pieces of shit of congress fishing with me for one day, may-be they would then see the odds on catching fish ???

If the gov. wants to do something right?/ put control’s on the ships with the large seines’ which cleans the ocean floor of every species’!

we need to start using the constitution instead of international law...maybe we should mail them a copy.

That's actually not a bad idea as a constitutional civil protest. I imagine we could shut down their e mail client if enough of us did it.

Of course we'd all be investigated as a concerted DNS attack....it would be worth it.

The HSUS endorse Obama during the campaign, and has made them lots of promises, hence the animal rights czars

HSUS Focuses on Faith Outreach During Fall Music Tour

From the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance website:

Message Focused on Youth at Christian Universities
The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance (USSA) has previously indicated that the nation’s largest anti-hunting group, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and other like-minded organizations are using religion as a way to spread their animal rights message.

A recent press release by the HSUS gives more evidence of this effort as they promote their “All Creatures” tour with 35 stops nationwide at music clubs and Christian universities.

With the stepped up campaign of humanizing animals and animalizing humans bears your assessment out.

The organizations may call themselves “christian” small “c” but they are far from being comprised of born again or even Bible following individuals.

From this point in time to the rapture, things will get more evil and outrageous each day. Satan is in control now and he will work tirelessly to increase his power until God reigns him in.
