Terror at 26,000 feet.

Oh man, I remember being a kid and seeing that episode at my great-grandparents house late at night. I was scared to look outside a window for like a week, thinking I would see that monster staring back at me!

Was that the John Lithgow segment? If it is, that’s a classic.

To this day, my brother won’t watch that episode. He’s 55. I scared the cr@p out of him during that episode.

FYI: You can watch many classic episodes of the Twilight Zone free online at this CBS link below. Unfortunately, they do not have this one with William Shatner available ('Nightmare at 20,000 Feet'), because it was from season 5 and they only have vids for the first 3.

Note that on each of the 3 'seasons pages' there are 2 pages of episodes listed (click the little arrow for the 2nd page):

Terror at 26,000 feet with William Shatner is my favorite as well, and I think that John Lithgow's performance in the 1980s version saved the movie from being nearly unwatchable.

Anyone catch the episode where a damn communist became President of the United States, and proceeded to destroy everything that is great about the Republic?

You nailed it.

That episode haunted my childhood. I couldn’t sleep with the drapes open, even into my early teens.
