NEW YORK - You know the title, now see the cover of Sarah Palin's "Going Rogue."
The former Alaska governor's memoir, a top-seller online weeks before publication, will feature an outdoor shot of Palin, wearing an American flag pin on her red fleece top, eyes turned slightly from the camera as she smiles confidently into the horizon, a patchwork of Alaska blue sky and clouds behind her.

“Either use the proper name or quit trying to be cute, thats part of the problem in America today. Everyone is talking in ‘Twiteese and FaceBookese’ and not using ENGLISH!”
I, too, lament the slow death of intelligent coversation, but nicknames are pretty low on my list of problems. They’ve always been there, and always will be. I wouldn’t use the term “lib” or “dem” if I wrote a monograph, but on the internet, who cares?
Even if the detractors were trolls, they have real arguments, and sue me for wanting to deal with their arguments qua arguments. I realize groupthink and ostracism are quicker, but we’re not all interested in reaching total unanimity as quickly as possible.
I don’t know about defensiveness on anyones part, but do you know what Palin has done at least yet?
1. She hasn’t signed a immigration amnysty bill LIKE REAGAN DID.
2. She has not cut and run in the middle east after US Marines were car bombed LIKE REAGAN DID.
3. She has not signed on the largest tax increase in US history up to that point in time LIKE REAGAN DID.
4. She has not appointed a squishy Justice like Sandra OConnor to the US Supreme Court LIKE REAGAN DID.
The problem with the Reaganauts particularly young Reaganauts is that good old Ronald Reagan would not be good enough for them either. They don’t understand many of the criticisms of G.W. Bush were also made of Reagan. They don’t understand that many of the criticism of made of Palin were also made of Reagan when he first ran. They don’t understand the MSMediots always make the same criticism of GOP candidates and potential candidates that they fear.
The MSMediots called Ike dumb, Nixon dumb, Goldwater dumb, Ford dumb, Reagan dumb, G.H.W. Bush dumb, Dole Dumb, G.W.Bush dumb and now Palin dumb. Do you see a pattern here?
No candidates is perfect. It is ok to like a different potential GOP candidate better. But if you come here and repeat MSMediot criticisms of Palin, you are not a serious thinker.
Brings a smile to my face.
Reality is on Wednesday 23 September, two US Politicians gave speeches on world geopolitics.
One presented a willingness to engage with other nations combined with a strong proclamation of the principle of Liberty (and a smidgen of "Mr Gorbachev, take down this Wall").
The other was a mea cupla by a pretty boy to the United Nations Dictator Section.
Interesting the descripion didn’t note her hair is down, as opposed to her iconic image with her hair pulled up.
WOW, You really don’t get it do you?
The Governor and her family were being attacked on a daily basis with false ethics complaints. She decided to remove herself from that situation. Takes a lot of guts to do something like that. Your hero, Obozo, worked for 154 days as a Senatwhore...
Later.
I doubt the phrase “An American Life” as a book title has been copyrighted.
Plus, it implies that she’s trying to present Reagan’s book on her own. Can’t judge that yet, but you get the point.
My hero?
Geez guy, get a grip.
Yes, and he did that as President, not as CA Governor.
Palin says, she can see Russia from her front porch.
I notice you're not replying to the large number of posters pointing out that you're dead-wrong in your quote, that it was Tina Fey that said that. Only nimrods spread the lie that it is a Gov. Palin quote.
What she said is that, in respond to Russia's invasion of neighboring Georgia, that "you can see Russia from here". And that is indeed true:
In some winters, you can even walk between the two.
Care to finally respond?
That was only the part ABC showed. The part that was edited OUT came just before when she was explaining to Gibson in the context of the Georgia/Russia conflict that she and Gibson were in Alaska and that Russia's proximity to Alaska made good relations with Russia important.
The entire context of her statement was edited OUT of the interview that was aired. Deliberately edited out.
Beautiful!
Dang, we agree on something. Has that happened before? Reviewing Reddy4Freddy's posting history, you do end up wondering about that...
Key phrase here is "among conservatives." I didn't say among the general population.
Then Id say you have rather limited insight.
Not at all. Just recognizing that we finally have a real conservative who's worthy of support.
Then you must be getting paid to be here.
Titles generally can’t be copyrighted.
You really have your communist talking points down pat.
