Reagan won the Cold War and beat the Soviet Empire into the dust bin of history.

Yes, and he did that as President, not as CA Governor.

Palin says, she “can see Russia from her front porch”.

I notice you're not replying to the large number of posters pointing out that you're dead-wrong in your quote, that it was Tina Fey that said that. Only nimrods spread the lie that it is a Gov. Palin quote.

What she said is that, in respond to Russia's invasion of neighboring Georgia, that "you can see Russia from here". And that is indeed true:

In some winters, you can even walk between the two.

Care to finally respond?

I also pointed out I was being sarcastic. Guess you missed that post. Read on. Next time I'll include a [/sarc] for all you hyper-sensitive types.

That was only the part ABC showed. The part that was edited OUT came just before when she was explaining to Gibson in the context of the Georgia/Russia conflict that she and Gibson were in Alaska and that Russia's proximity to Alaska made good relations with Russia important.

The entire context of her statement was edited OUT of the interview that was aired. Deliberately edited out.
