Statins make me feel like I’ve been hit in the small of my back with a baseball bat. Won’t take them.
Dr. now wants me to take fenofibric acid (Trilipix), I’ve filled the scrip, but refuse to take it after reading what IT can do to your kidneys.
Anyone have any thoughts on fenofibrates?
Are you being prescribed statins & fenofibrates for high cholesterol? If so, I have a little trick. I drink a SuperShot by Promise Activ with or immediately after a fatty meal once or twice a day. Its nothing more than plant sterols. It’s in the yogurt section at the grocery store. My total cholesterol was above 270 and is now at 200. I like eating nuts and read where eating a handful of nuts before a fatty meal will lower cholesterol, too. Google SuperShots by Promise for more info.
