Per @Romenesko, Washpo lost $143 million through the first six months of this year Which means they lose $1.10 PER COPY. Yikes.
Yikes indeed. So why is this happening? Yes, there are certainly key technological changes that are driving the Red Queens Race. But, as John Nolte writes at Big Hollywood, Twas Accountability That Led the Mainstream Media to Suicide:
Mainstream news outlets have been caught off guard before, but they used to play catch up. Today they play hide the ball. The problem is that they have become accountable only to the far left socialists. They have forgotten about the sacred duty that newspapers are supposed to have and to REPORT the news in a fair and unbiased manner. Instead, they are little more than a bunch of willing propaganda pieces, shilling for Obama.
If even ONE of them had an ounce of honesty, they would be following Orly Taiz around HELPING her get to the bottom of the story, for good or bad. Instead they mock those who think that it is just a bit suspicious when a president refuses to open his documents and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to keep them hid and prove the people who are challenging him are kooks.
