Often The Response To Opposition To Obama's Policies Is "He Won." What Is The Bit With This?

Just curious as to your response to that and the following:

As opposition continues to mount against Obama's massively big spending ways, his mortgaging of even our great-grandchildren's future, his socialistic policies, his choice of uber-radicals as Czars (and on and on), I have noticed more and more liberals in general (and liberals in the MSM) say in response "He won, your guy didn't," or "Americans voted him in."

You get the picture.

So do liberals think that they get to play this card as often as the desire until 2012, no matter that most people do not support his policies anymore?

I mean, when the race card doesn't work, they play the "Obama won" card, and they seem to be playing it more and more.

Desperation on their part?

Has anyone else here seen them playing the "Obama won" card and more and more at that?

Do they honestly think that when they play that card that everyone is just supposed to shut up and get in line or get out of the way?

Just thought that I would ask these questions since I haven't noticed much retort from conservatives in the media to this tactic from the left....

“He lied” trumps the “he won” card.

Bush won, too. It didn’t seem to help him much though.

Good point.

Arrogance indeed.

Liberals aren’t known for their humility.

Perhaps there is more, though...

Same repeat response as always when a Liberal/Progressive/Democrat is cornered with facts and the truth. When Klintoon was sitting in the WH they would make the comment that "Oh you just hate Clinton."

I think in Phyc. terms it's called denial. Something involving self talk to reassure themselves that they believe the BS that they are spewing. (Liberalism is a Mental Disorder)

So because "He Won" it gives him cart blanche to do whatever the hell he wants?

I think not...he is not a King

Why not: We elected a president, not a dictator. Suggest you lefties might want to read the Constitution.

That is what I am getting at.

And I have wondered if anyone else here has noticed this increasing trend among liberals to play the “He won, you lost” card.

IMHO, I think that they are becoming desperate.

And I also wanted to give people here some ideas that they can use to refute this ridiculous argument (if they come across those pulling it out) that liberals make.

Indeed, just because he won does not make him King.

Actually the past couple of conversations I have had with liberals, I find they can't refute anything I say about Obama so they will consistantly revert back to "But Bush did this..." type of argument.

I just laugh, inform them that Bush is no longer president and to get back to me when they can come up with a coherent argument that refutes what I have to say about Obama...

They never come back... ;)

Just because he "won" doesn't give him the right to institute fascism.

Fascism: Definition

n.

  1. often Fascism
    1. A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
    2. A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government.
  2. Oppressive, dictatorial control.

Libs are quite adept at “projecting” as well.

They hate traditional America, want to radically change it, and yet they have the gall to accuse others of being the haters.

Go figure...

I talked to one liberal quite some time back and he was touting how he supported diversity (in this case it was a gay pride march) and so I asked him if he supported even MORE diversity by him supporting something we never see: a straight pride march.

He about blew a gasket.

Some tolerance for diversity on his part - and I called him on it.

Another way of saying, “Elections have consequences.” They’re not terribly wrong about that. Our point is, they ran on a platform different from what they are doing,

To me, when I hear them say that “He won,” I gather from that they they think that since he won, America must still support what he is doing now.

To which I respond, “That was then, this is now” and that America does not support what he is doing now.

Add that to what you say and one comes up with this:

That was then, this is now and America does not support what he is doing now since he ran on a platform different from what he (and his fellow libs) are doing now.

Part of me thinks that they are in denial to the fact that America has now rejected Pelosi, Reid, Obama and their ilk and policies.

Hence, the aforementioned desperation on their part and the vicious personal attacks against those who disagree with them or challenge their policies

It means they think he was elected Supreme Leader and should now rule America by fiat.

That would go along with liberals belief that dissent is not the highest form of patriotism when conservatives dissent against Obama’s policies.

They are loathsome little creatures that stock the internet! They do not realize that this is not a fight against Democrats or Republicans but against what ever alien form has amassed in these lifetime politicians no matter which side they state they represent.

They do not represent the people. They represent big business, corrupt banking industries, non-profit organizations etc. that filter money back into their pockets so that they can run for office again. Simply the bottom of the barrel.

My rant for the day!
