Tens and hundreds of dedicated liberal activists rallied in Washington D.C. on Sunday, 9/13 in support of the Democrats' Public Option for healthcare reform. The D.C. police and onsite conservative observers estimate the crowd size at a stunning 800 to 1000 people.
The huge turnout was due to the superior organizing skills of community organizations all across the United States. Dedicated individuals, sponsored by liberal organizations and enviromental lobbyists, were bussed in overnight to demand that Congress pass a public option as part of any meaningful healthcare bill in the House and Senate.

A few Kos Kids' comments for your reading enjoyment:
- It turns out Bob Reich initially called for it then he pulled back and even apologized, citing his own failure to organize as an example of Democratic party disorganization in general.
I know Julie Paulsen and others who worked very hard to get it organized but without "top down" assistance with logistics, or a high-profile leader, I think we're better off just knocking on doors and canvassing voters.
That's how we're gonna win anyway. We're already the majority. We just need to act like it.

- Is this the "March On Washington" people were all fired up about several weeks ago?

- It was supposed to be. We got out marched by the teabaggers.
And that's just sad.

I wonder if they needed a helicopter to get an accurate count? Or...maybe they could just use their fingers!
To: BuckeyeTexan
Wow, that looks like a bunch of white, angry racists. I mean, except for that one picture that shows a black woman, the rest are all white. Doesn’t having a bunch of white people gathering together to protest something automatically mean they’re racist?

In other news, the glorious citizens of Kossac land have stormed Washington in mass, millions, no billions of supporters of Obama have showed up.
Here is a photo of the billions of revolutionaries supporting Nationalized Health Care.

Unlike the 9/12 crowd, not many of those people seem to be smiling and laughing. They act like they are at work. Maybe they are.

Tens and hundreds = 220 but will be reported by the complicit media as ten to the hundreth power.
(Math question: What is 10 to the hundredth power? )
10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 ,000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000.

No, silly! You're only racist if you oppose Obama, not if you support him. At least that's my understanding anyway. :)

You wasted your time and money following the Tea Party express. The turnout at this rally was far more impressive. /s
