Tragic.

Something about the way this story has been covered seems odd.

Love Triangle? Imminent marriage? Then a murder?

Pure speculation, I know. ( Just curious as to what the motive might be to end such a beautiful young life.)

RIP Annie.Prayers UP.

I still haven’t heard the explanation for how somebody’s corpse gets “behind a wall” in an already constructed building...

Another argument for concealed carry — Miss Le was 4-foot nothing and weighed 90 lbs. She should have had a .38 LadySmith on her person at all times...and have known how to use it.

What the hell is wrong with people who commit senseless crimes like this?

“Not a random act.” What does that mean? That her killer had some premeditation? Or she accidentally discovered a crime (like drug traffic) and they killed her to silence her? Was she stalked?
Seems odd the police would have so little to say, and that denial of finding her on Saturday, then not 24 hrs later they confirm they did. Almost seems like Yale is throwing its weight around to control public information that might not be good for Yale.

The Yale and New Haven Police have been screwed up for a long time.

“....with a little street smarts, one can avoid becoming yet another statistic.”

I don’t think “street smarts” would have helped Annie nearly as much as perhaps................A GUN!!!!!

That suspect has what appear to be defensive wounds, a key piece of circumstantial evidence. In addition, the suspect, who authorities believe knew Le, failed a lie detector test, sources told ABC News. Sources also told ABC News that bloody clothing removed from the lab belonged to the likely killer.

Investigators have been looking at everyone from Yale maintenance people to people who worked in the lab and fellow students.

“We’re not believing it’s a random act,” Officer Joe Avery, a police spokesman, told The Associated Press. He would not provide further details but said no one else is in danger.

FIVE days ago the cops KNEW (because of videotape evidence) that she entered the building BUT NEVER LEFT! FIVE DAYS later they find her body!

Total incompetence! If you knew she entered but never left you would do 2 things: 1.) A complete and thorough search of the ENTIRE building from top to bottom, basement to rooftop, overlooking NOTHING!; 2. You would have used police bloodhounds and cadaver dogs IN THE SEARCH!

What an outrage to allow her body to decompose IN THE BUILDING for 5 days!

In the NY Times article, today, to which I won’t link, it says the police spokesman “said the police had no suspects and no one in custody. ‘We’re not questioning anybody,’ “

Let’s hope someone is questioning someone.

This story just tears me apart. Her parents expected to see her walk down the aisle on the happiest day of her life and now they get a funeral instead. So sad and tragic.
