Vanity: Strange thing in my town today.

I live in a university town, not too large or small. Today (Sunday) I go out to buy gas. The first two stations I went to were closed, no gas. This never happens. The third station I went to had long lines. I passed another open station on the way home--again, long lines. I've not seen anything like this since the early 1970s.
Not drawing conclusions, just reporting.

Panic is due piss poor planning. I have two diesel pickups eac has a 200 gallon custom made bedtank an a 55 gallon underbed aftermarket fuel tank. We top off every 8 months if we need it or not.....:o)

were still up in the $2.86 range here in Eastern washington/. I need to find your neighborhood. The closest station to me is 2.96 (SE WA). We're getting ripped.

Gas is plentiful and fairly cheap down here in Texas. I here rumors that there are so many loaded oil-tankers in the Houston off-shore anchorage with no buyers that more than a few people are getting worried.
Send some our way. $3.09 here in NE Washington State. Of course, that was yesterday, don’t know what it is today

Not if they are headed South. Plenty of gas in Northern Virginia, everyone is open, everyone is pumping.

Reminds me of the poster who was banned and came back, can’t think of his name. He would say the craziest things. Always gave me a chuckle.

Oh yea that is him. Can you imagine him as your neighbor. I would have to install a 20 foot fence to keep him from looking at my pool party.

I used the exact same opening line in a letter to Penthouse once. So that was you. Weird dude!

In my area many of the convenience stores -gas stations, are run by ‘foreigners’. Half of our doctors are muslim.
I always wondered what would happen in an emergency if they just all ‘shut down’!
