Capitalism will win out.
Well sure... cannabis is the largest cash crop in United States you know... corn is second I think...
I’m growing some “Made in USA” methane gas.
When one buys cannabis for recreational purposes one is—in effect—also purchasing a $40 food bill as well.
End the war on drugs, and let people decide for themselves. That would end the growing in national forests and smuggling problem.
Just curious. Are Americans growing their own tobacco too?
With prices rising, and the government treating smokers like criminals, it stands to reason that people would grow their own.
And moonshine stills can’t be far behind.
Just like the Freak Brothers said:
“Dope will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no dope.”
Supply and demand. Aside from enriching some Mexican drug lords, our laws against marijuana accomplish nothing. Any kid who wants to buy weed can do so - easier than he can buy a beer, since pot dealers don’t card.
Hire more DEA agents!!!!
Prohibition doesnt work.
Go to NORML
“More than 600,000 cannabis plants have been cut and burned in those states this summer”
Ah-hahhh-hahh-hahh - they’re burning the plants! A giant bonfire of marijuana!! I bet the ATF agents are lining up to go to these events. LMAO
Kentucky Bud!
I think it’s funny that the government tries to outlaw a common weed! Cocaine and others, I can see, as they need to be processed, but pot can grow on the side of the road next to the dandelions and poison ivy!
BTW, that plant needs to be pruned. It’ll grow more tops that way without getting too tall . . . That’s what I hear anyway . . . .
Nice bud. I’m too much of a coward to grow marijuana. I treasure my nursing license!
Well my name’s John Lee Pettimore
Same as my daddy and his daddy before
You hardly ever saw Grandaddy down here
He only came to town about twice a year
He’d buy a hundred pounds of yeast and some copper line
Everybody knew that he made moonshine
Now the revenue man wanted Grandaddy bad
He headed up the holler with everything he had
It’s before my time but I’ve been told
He never came back from Copperhead Road
Now Daddy ran the whiskey in a big block Dodge
Bought it at an auction at the Mason’s Lodge
Johnson County Sheriff painted on the side
Just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside
Well him and my uncle tore that engine down
I still remember that rumblin’ sound
Well the sheriff came around in the middle of the night
Heard mama cryin’, knew something wasn’t right
He was headed down to Knoxville with the weekly load
You could smell the whiskey burnin’ down Copperhead Road
I volunteered for the Army on my birthday
They draft the white trash first,’round here anyway
I done two tours of duty in Vietnam
And I came home with a brand new plan
I take the seed from Colombia and Mexico
I plant it up the holler down Copperhead Road
Well the D.E.A.’s got a chopper in the air
I wake up screaming like I’m back over there
I learned a thing or two from ol’ Charlie don’t you know
You better stay away from Copperhead Road
Copperhead Road
Copperhead Road
Copperhead Road
Americans can’t compete with the Mexican Drug Cartels growing it on ‘public lands’.....we have to pay for water, etc. and we would get prosecuted. They just steal the water, abuse the land and burn down 88,000 acres in California last month in the process. The local sheriffs are outnumbered by the cartels.
