Tests show that controversial runner Caster Semenya is a woman ...and a man!
The 18-year-old South African champ has no womb or ovaries and her testosterone levels are more than three times higher than those of a normal female, according to reports.
The tests, ordered by The International Association of Athletics Federations after Semenya's 800-meter victory in the World Championships, determined she's a hermaphrodite - having both male and female organs.

so he/she is out of the next Olympics, but is eligible to compete in the 2010 Crying Games.......
So he/she can compete in BOTH men and women’s races now!
I feel bad for her, imagine have that broadcast all over the world.
Who says “womb”? Since the KJV bible anyway.
Wait a durn minute. The article claims she “has no womb or ovaries”, then goes on to state that she has both male and female organs.
Which other female organs would those be now?
I think she has an innie instead of an outie.
Maybe they mean that He/She has the external bit of a guy?
I meant to type:
Maybe they mean that He/She has the external bits of a guy and a gal?
And undescended testicles which produce testoterone. She’s a dude with an innie.
Horse hockey. They know he's a he or he wouldn't have been named with a boy's name. No ovaries but testes (internal) and a hefty amount of testosterone. Walks like a dude. Looks like a dude. Talks like a dude. It is a dude.
“testosterone levels are more than three times higher than those of a normal female”
And THIS is why ‘she’ should not be able to compete against women. Testosterone is primarily why men do better than women at sports. (interestingly it is also a large component in men’s stronger sex drive).
Yikes.
Why is it not a matter of an X or Y chromosome. What difference does it matter if she can give birth.
Uh, is there a ding a ling?
'Zactly. I don't mean to minimize what this young person must have been through so far in life, but I call foul in the sports competition.

Exactly. Who would want to be like that, and then have the entire world think you are some kind of freak? I admire her for having the courage to take the risk to get this far.
I would suggest that you Google hermaphrodite but I’m rather sorry that I did. *ahem* Pics and video were unscrutinized by me.
