(Reuters) – A fund of hedge funds run by two members of VP Joe Biden's family was marketed exclusively by offshore firms controlled by Texas financier Allen Stanford, charged by regulators with an $8 billion fraud, the Wall Street Journal said. The Bidens $50 million fund was jointly branded between the Bidens' Paradigm Global Advisors LLC and the offshore Stanford Financial Group entity headquartered in Antigua, and was known as the Paradigm Stanford Capital Management Core Alternative Fund, the paper said. Stanford-related offshore companies marketed the Biden fund to investors and also invested about $2.7 million of their own money in the fund, the paper said, citing a lawyer for Paradigm.

Paradigm Global Advisors is owned through a holding company by the vice president Biden's son, Hunter, and Joe Biden's brother, James, according to the paper. Paradigm's attorney, Marc LoPresti, who represents Hunter Biden and James Biden, as well as Paradigm, told the paper he did not know which Stanford entity invested the roughly $2.7 million. He told the paper the Bidens NEVER met or communicated with Stanford.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, commonly referred to as the “stimulus bill,” was intended to jump-start the economy in the short term and fund long-term investments. Quick funding of state-based projects to fight the recession was a major rationale for expediting the law's passage. However, six months have passed and little of that money has been delivered.

States with large per capita allocations probably expected a quick arrival of their recession-fighting funds. The state-by-state disbursement data tells a different story. When it comes to money actually paid out, many states that were promised less are getting the most. By the time the recovery money is fully paid, states with the largest total allocations will obviously be tops in terms of money received. But disbursement will be completed some time from now, perhaps even after the current recession has abated. (Excerpt) Read more at aier.org ...

Obama hid $14.5 Billion "stimulus" in the crooked state of NJ. According to NJ investigative news organs, there is no trace of the "stimulus" being allocated. The NJ governor is an ex-Goldman Sachs operator....and is practiced on how to loot and pillage piles of money for personal profit. Both Obama, and Biden (who Obama put in charge of the stimulus zillions) visited NJ shortly after they hid the $14.5 Billion.

I would take Joe Biden as President in a second compared to this dude. Before this I thought Biden was a buffoon, but just a typical self interested politician. Obama is a mission to radically change this nation.

i have said that too. great minds and all that aside... i think biden will pick hillary as vp and then conveniently resign for personal or health reasons. hillary gets the top spot as payback for whatever she is not revealing about obama bin biden.

You know, it is disgusting how little play this is getting in the MSM. Can you imagine if Bush just “went away”. The press would be all over it in bold headlines.

From the article: In a presidential-like declaration, Mr. Biden said the buck stops with him. "I take responsibility for mistakes that were made," he said at one point.

Either it is true that Obama is fasting and celebrating Ramadan in private...or...as I have predicted...he is on the verge of a severe emotional break down/depression.

Obama is so thin-skinned that all this rejection must be dealing him a blow he cannot sustain. He couldn't even take it when he was on the campaign trail.

Consider what Bush was doing in the first months of his Presidency. He was uniting the whole world against the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11. He was making hard, serious, and unprecedented decisions while faced with criticism at the same time and he never ran away to hide. Obama can't unite his own party anymore, he hasn't picked all his Cabinet, the country is rallying in protest against his decisions in the thousands across the land...and all the while he has been on vacation for two weeks leaving his office as empty as his suit!
