They found the pattern of drinking rather than the total amount of alcohol consumed has a greater effect on waist size.

In women the effect was even more pronounced...

The research, funded by the Wellcome Trust, was presented at the European Society of Cardiology in Barcelona.

Duh!

A guy drinks five pints of beer a night versus five pints in a week.

That’s seven times the calories for the guy with the beer gut.

I would have only charged a six pack for this study!

Which reminds me, have you noticed a drop in the price of Chevis Regal lately? Seems with Ted Kennedy gone warehouses have an overstock.

Men Lose Their Minds Speaking To Pretty Women

The research shows men who spend even a few minutes in the company of an attractive woman perform less well in tests designed to measure brain function than those who chat to someone they do not find attractive...

Same thing happens with 5 slices of cheesecake.

Now don't go giving them any ideas for another wasteful study.

..on a side note, when did one bottle of wine constitute as ‘binge drinking’? If it is, half of France are binge drinkers.

Yeah, nobody ever got a gut form 5 shots of bourbon. Unless they emptied the salted snack bowls a few times.
